Expert: Liliana Rincón – Executive Producer

Her experience has led her to be part of important fiction, documentary and animation productions. She is the producer of the first Colombian film in the official competition of the Annecy International Animation Festival, the most important in its field worldwide.

She has been a representative of producers on the Board of Directors of Proimágenes Colombia. She represents the Animation specialty on the board of directors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, is president of the Asociación GEMA Colombia – Grupo Empresas Animación – and is an advisor to the Quirino Awards for Ibero-American Animation.

Our projects

Espantijos

I am co-creator and producer of ESPANTIJOS, a children’s and transmedia project that starts with an animated series and includes a VR game for Oculus Quest and a collectible card game with augmented reality. Nominated for best animated series in Chilemonos and ComKids Prix Jeunesse Iberoamericano.

Animalarium

My first produced short film is ANIMALARIO, winner for best animated short film at Los Angeles Movie Awards and Rome Independent Film Festival. Official selection in more than thirty international festivals, including Hiroshima and AnimaMundi. First Colombian short film with AR App and Facebook App. Its launch was attended by more than a thousand people.

Sabogal the Movie

I produced the feature film SABOGAL (106 MIN) based on the series. First Colombian film nominated for best film in the most important animation festival in the world: Annecy (France) and in the most renowned animation festivals in the world. For its theatrical exhibition I designed and led two transmedia experiences.

Yellow and Violet

AMARILLO Y VIOLETA is the first animated series premiered and broadcasted in 10 public channels in Colombia on the same day. Winner at Bogota Audiovisual Market, selection at Pixelatl and Iberseries – IPI Pitch. Double nomination at the India Catalina Awards for Best Children’s Audiovisual Production and Best Animated Audiovisual Production.

Sabogal the series

I produced the TV series SABOGAL (20 ep x 25 min) for CANAL CAPITAL. First series in Latin America with simultaneous body, facial and voice capture. Winner Best Animation of the XIX Lápiz de Acero Award.

Nominated for Best Animated Audiovisual Production at the India Catalina Awards.

Eri's unusual secret

The series EL INSÓLITO SECRETO DE ERI is our most recent animation project in production. Winner of the Ministry of Culture – Development Grant for Best Children’s Series Project and the Ministry of Culture – Best Children’s Series Production. BAM Animation selection at the Bogota Audiovisual Market.

Dilemmas

The Chicuaco Song

We developed the research and production in Colombia of the SWISS DOCUMENTARY EL CANTO DE CHICUACO about the music of the Colombian Llanos for the series project El Sur de la Música.

The Good Life

Coordination of production in Colombia of the SWISS-GERMAN DOCUMENTARY LA BUENA VIDA about the effect of coal mining on the Wayyu community.

My Body my Terriotrium

MY BODY MY TERRITORY is the animated short film we produced for the United Nations refugee agency UNHCR for the prevention of and attention to sexual violence. Its success led to the production of versions in English, French and Arabic.

Magazin Juvenil Cultural the Under 30

Coordination of production of the CULTURAL YOUTH MAGAZINE LA SUB 30 with a daily broadcast of one hour (Series of 277 chapters of daily broadcast -Monday to Friday- and 55 Sunday programs) as a strategy to make youth talents and values visible at a national level.
